RESEARCH EXPERIENCES
  • Masters’ degree research project: Relationship between Emotion Regulation Strategies and the Optimal Performance of Tennis Players

  • This study examines the relationship between emotion regulation strategies and the optimal performance of tennis players.  It hypothesizes that high-performing tennis players use cognitive emotion regulation strategies to a greater extent than lower-performing players.

 

  • Undergraduate senior thesis:  Ritual and Performance in Tennis

  • The study investigates the relationship between rituals/routines and performance in tennis.

  • Results indicate that players who use their rituals successfully have a better result during match play and in most cases remain calm, focused, and less anxious.

  • Addiction Recovery
